Much more useful than I thought it would be, the best part is the news!

Its a reasonably good app when it runs. Operative word "when". Its flaky, will run fine for weeks then start to crashing on startup necessitating deletion and re-installation. Its happened so many times I gave up and deleted it permanently (iPhone 6, 128, IOS 8.1.1).

Whilst the app does what its intended to do, many times the pages do not load at all. For Canadian customers, many apps mentioned inside this app and website are only for America. Please allow customization for location!

Crashes when scrolling too fast

Provides some good information if you can get past 1) frequent crashes 2) a very ugly and outdated UI and 3) smarmy and self-important writing. I still check the app a couple times per week.

Ive read lots of useful information, Ive liked a few of the daily freebies.

Not sure which update messed things up but it crashes on opening now.

App Advice used to be about finding the best apps for different needs, now its strictly a clickbait site for Apple fanboys that slags everything non-Apple. Reeks of desperation and denial.

Will ya update already? Cmon. I love your content, but your UI still looks like the original iPhone OS. Maybe you think if you keep it like that long enough itll be cool again ;) But seriously, I use it every day. Its part of my morning ritual and it pains me to look at.

Crashes at the very beginning.

Your App hasnt changed in years.....Update it with a better UI. The news you pass-out on most tidbits is frustrating as half wont open "sorry we cant seem to find this article". Dont put out a heading if the article isnt there! This happens more often than not! Get it together!

Its crashing a lot these days.

I totally agree with all of the latest reviews. This used to be so good. It was my go to app on everything but has not had an update in ages. What is going on guys??? I wont be telling my friends about it anymore.

This is a must have app. However no recent updates makes its performance suffer, especially on iOS 9.2 etc with frequent crashing and poor page formatting. Ironic that an app that advises on all other app updates and functionality is in so much need of an update itself! Doug D

Update Feb 2016: Constant lock-ups now. Happening on all devices, iPad1, iPhone 3gs, iPad Air 2, Page will open and display fine, then suddenly (and consistently) go to a blank page saying: "We are unable to process your request at this time," The iphone app at least gives you a button to "Retry Request?", which reloads the page but soon that new page will disappear too with the same result. No such "Retry Request" option on iPad. No more Appisodes either. Looks like app is finally history. Too bad. Another good one bites the dust. . . . . . . . . . This used to be a great app, but now it crashes every every time its opened. Fixed for a day, then still crashing...also doesnt load completely.

Too many "we are unable to process your request at this time".

Last update was Nov. 12, 2012 Its now 2016. Youve had 4 years to get the bugs out. Half of your articles either have spinning wheels or "oops we couldnt find what your looking for" Youre entire App needs revision!

Anyone else get this message a lot?

Used to love it. Now, images and movies often dont load. It crashed after about 5 minutes of use. The UI was stale three years ago... And I wish there was a way to not have so many stories about childish games.
